How it keeps everyone safe

A payment gateway is only worth using if it can't be abused. These are the rules, and none of them can be switched off.

The amount comes from the link, never the request.

A fixed link charges what you set. Nobody can be talked into paying more — or less.

Nothing moves without a signed-in payer pressing Pay.

Loading a URL can't charge anyone. A link on a hostile page can't either.

Return links are shown, never followed automatically.

After paying, the payer sees where they'd be sent and chooses to go — so a checkout can't be used to bounce people somewhere nasty.

Only earned Cybucks can be paid out.

Same rule as a bank transfer. The welcome grant stays put, so a payment link can't be used to farm free money into one account.

Every payment has a receipt number both sides can see.

Deleting a link never deletes its receipts.

Cyvathon never asks for real money.

Signing up needs a username and a password. No card details, no real currency, ever — and the checkout says so.

Putting it on your website

Every link has a ready-made button under "Embed". It's plain HTML — no script to load, nothing that runs on your page — so it works on any site, blog or page builder that lets you paste HTML. If you can only paste a URL, the link on its own works just as well.
